Service: Hawkshead have a very easy website to use, so ordering a dream compared to some other websites. Order well packaged, good communication, from company, reference delivery and actual delivery timely. Overall a good shopping experience and would recommend them.
Product: Commenting on a pair of Lairg softshell trousers which, compared to the previous prolite version, are not an improvement, more a retrograde step. Material the same, improved rear pocket depth compared to the chasm in the previous version and this is the only improvement. The leg pocket is badly designed, facing forward so contents, of pocket, bounce against your foreleg instead of sitting comfortably behind the leg. Pocket zip badly designed compared to previous version. Two rear pocket have a single popper as opposed to a zip and is a struggle to close and finally, the belt loops appear to be an after thought, made of webbing material. Have been in communication with Craghoppers about these trousers and why they changed an excellent deign, in the previous prolite version, for a pair of trousers with no extra benefits....if it's not broken, don't try to fix on improving it. PS, wear Craghoppers trousers all the time, so this is not the ramblings of a dissatisfied customer, more a concerned customer.
